Coaching Announcements

15 Feb 2022 by Jarrod Lewis

“Never say never”, after 4 successful years of building our senior men’s group up, coaching discussions with Jack Hall and first year co coach Craig Biddiscombe commenced in early January. After excellent open and honest dialogue regarding the current position of our club, the direction we are travelling in to set up long term, both the club and the two candidates were energised and enthusiastic to continue on in our journey together. We are delighted to announce Jack and Craig will continue on in heading our men’s senior coaching roles for 2022/23. After our review both parties are champing at the bit to make every post a winner in 2021/22 and dive in to the future.

And in further great news, first year senior women’s cricket co coaches Casey Meehan and Lachlan Hayes have committed to continue on in the role in 2022/23. The guys will have learned invaluable lessons from year one as coaches, along with growing their knowledge of our list and the women’s game. We aim to give Lachlan and Casey every bit of support we can. A super exciting part of this support we can announce is that Sam Hall will take on a directors role of our women’s cricket program. Sam will assist the coaches with recruiting, mapping out our women’s program, passing on his knowledge around training methods and structures. With these appointments in place we look forward to extracting every bit out of 2021/22 that we can and making next year bigger and better.

Two exciting announcements in one, congratulations to all involved and we can’t wait to see what the next 15 months can bring.
